Circumstances have allowed us to keep this incredible Cuban/Havana Silk cross pup known as 'Seda N Pixc Island Phoenix' or 'Ahi' to us. On the October 22nd weekend, we had the opportunity to present Ahi to the Canadian showring . Our first presentation was very rewarding with two Best of Breed placings, 3 Winners Male, 2 Best of Winners and 3 Best Puppy in Breed placings, plus placing 2nd in the Group ring and one Best Puppy in Show! This young dog is only 2 points away from his Canadian Conformation Title.
We'd truly like to thank the prestigious judges, Roberto Velez-Pico, and Jean Fournier for recognizing and rewarding this incredible Cuban/Havana Silk cross. His color, movement, temperament and structure are magnificent and we're thrilled that the judges agree with us.
Thanks again to Chris for allowing us to breed to 'Cayo', her Cuban male and one of the few remaining left in the world.

Wow!! What a busy summer. We decided to give Cane a chance to shine in the Agility Ring - finally. We attended our first CKC competition at the AKC show in Calgary on the August long weekend. After only a few evenings teaching him about contact equipment, he impressed everyone with his speed, desire and skill. Although we didn't get our title first weekend out, we did get two Qualifying runs. Very impressive for a 2 year old dog.
A couple weekends later, we managed to just meet the entry deadline for another trial. Entered in both Standard and Jumper with Weaves (JWW) it was a busy weekend. Cane got two more Qualifying Standards run in and has received his Novice Standard title! He also has one Qualifying run with his JWW. Hopefully we'll find another CKC trial before Christmas and complete that first title.

We have another home-bred Champion!! Seda's Sweet Summer Raine was awarded her CKC Conformation Championship at the NACA show in Edmonton June 3rd to 6th weekend. With class dogs in only two of the four days, we were so very proud of her as she won 2 point majors both days. Finishing in only four weekends has been a major accomplishment for all of us and we are very proud of our lovely girl!
